History

In 1967, Jim Meinhard founded Meinhardt Farm Equipment as a single store, Allis Chalmers dealership in Wamego, KS.

In May of 1999, KanEquip, Inc. was formed through the merger of Meinhardt Farm Equipment, Herington Tractor in Herington, KS, Peschel Equipment in Marysville, KS and Ford County Equipment in Dodge City, KS. Shortly after the merger KanEquip purchased a facility in Clay Center, KS and opened another in Topeka, KS.

In 2004 we purchased Garden City New Holland in Garden City, KS.

In 2008 we purchased Robl Farm Equipment, Ellsworth, KS.

Today, KanEquip is still family owned and is a progressive, 8 store dealership that sells New Holland, Kubota, and Case IH as well as several short lines.
